A clear plan before paint starts
Ceiling light can make small marks easy to see. A flat finish often helps hide tiny flaws. Stains may need a special primer before the top coat.
- Flat and smooth ceilings
- Knockdown and textured ceilings
- Vaulted and high ceilings
- Water stain blocking
- Ceiling color changes
- Ceiling and wall packages
Keep the room protected
We cover floors, fans, lights, cabinets, and furniture. High or sloped ceilings may need tall ladders and more setup time.
Work with the texture
Flat, knockdown, popcorn, and other textures need different roller covers and pressure. Loose texture must be found before paint begins.
Plan the room order
Ceilings are often painted before walls and trim. This makes it easier to keep the final wall lines clean.
Questions homeowners ask
Can you paint a popcorn ceiling?
Sometimes. The texture must be firm. Loose texture can fall when it gets wet, so it needs to be checked first.
Will paint hide a water stain?
Normal paint may not stop a stain. The leak should be fixed, and a stain-blocking primer may be needed.
Do you paint ceiling fans?
Fans are usually covered, not painted. We can talk about removal or special work during the visit.
Can the ceiling be a color other than white?
Yes. A light color can warm a room. A dark color can add style but may make the room feel smaller.
