A simple work plan
We start by checking the walls. We look for nail holes, loose caulk, stains, scuffs, and old repairs. We cover the floor and nearby items. Then we cut clean lines and roll the main wall areas.
Color and sheen choices
Flat paint can hide small wall marks. Eggshell is easy to clean in many living areas. Satin is often used in baths, kitchens, and trim. We can talk through the choice during the visit.
Living in the home during work
Many families stay home while rooms are painted. We can plan the order so you still have space to use. Tell us about pets, work hours, children, or any room that must stay open.
Questions homeowners ask
Do I need to move all furniture?
Small items should be moved. Large items can often be moved to the center and covered. We will explain what is needed before work starts.
Can you paint over dark colors?
Yes. Some dark colors need a primer or more than one finish coat. The wall and new color guide the plan.
How long does a room take?
Many rooms take one or two work days. Repairs, trim, high walls, or large color changes can add time.
Will the paint smell strong?
Most modern wall paints have a lower odor than older paint. Fresh air and normal drying time still help.
