Evaluate the existing stucco
We look for chalk, mildew, efflorescence, hairline cracks, patches, delamination, and signs of moisture. Structural or active water problems need proper repair first.
Cleaning and crack attention
Washing removes contamination. Minor cracks may be prepared with compatible materials. Large or recurring cracks may need evaluation beyond painting.
Conditioner, primer, and finish
Masonry conditioner or primer may be recommended for porous, chalky, patched, or exposed areas. Finish paint must be compatible with the prepared substrate.
Spray and back roll
On suitable stucco, spraying followed by immediate rolling helps distribute coating across texture and creates a consistent appearance.
